A Highland Games is not complete without demonstrations of sheep herding. Our Scotland County Highland Games is no exception!
Our visiting Sheep Herder is Shona O'Kane who has been so fortunate to be able to travel all over North America with her wonderful Border Collies, competing and working in film and television productions. Her favorite opportunity remains entertaining people and making new friends at herding demonstrations, where she offers spectators a glimpse into the working life of these amazing dogs.
We are pleased to offer two sheep herding demonstrations, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both will feature Shona O'Kane's sheep herding dogs, the Border Collie, and will take place in a field specifically set aside for this event.
